For nearly-completed drafts, I can review spelling, sentence structure, punctuation, and formatting based on current style guidelines.
Please note: I require a sample of the work, as well as an accurate word count, to provide a cost estimate.

Coaching is an individualized process that focuses on your needs as a writer. I draw from educational theory and research on the writing process to develop individual exercises. Because coaching is a dynamic process, we’ll discuss your needs and build a custom plan together.

As a coach, my primary focus is on you, as a writer. I aim to help you grow in your writing habits, process, and confidence, so you can continue doing the hard work of writing.
A coaching session is simply a focused, personalized conversation about your work. I will read your writing, listen to you talk about your process, ask questions, and suggest strategies for moving forward. Or, if you prefer to work via email, I can provide developmental editing on a draft-in-process.
I love the chance to sit with writers and hear their stories, and I would love to hear yours!
